DreamBeds: better sleep, honestly priced

DreamBeds is an Austin, Texas mattress and bed company. We design our own mattresses, bed frames and adjustable bases, build most of them in the United States, and sell them online and from one showroom on South Lamar. Every mattress comes with a 100-night trial (365 nights on our latex and handmade models), free shipping on orders over $999, and a warranty of 10 to 25 years.

Four tiers, one standard

• Budget ($199 to $499): the Nook family. Basic foam, Bonnell innerspring and hybrid-lite mattresses for kids, guests and first apartments, plus bunkie boards, toppers and a folding guest bed.
• Mid-range ($600 to $1,499): our best sellers. The Haven Gel Memory Foam, Serene Plush, Ridge Pocket-Coil Hybrid and Heritage Euro-Top, with solid wood and upholstered bed frames and the Lift Basic adjustable base.
• Premium ($1,500 to $3,499): the Aurora Cooling Hybrid Plus, Lumen phase-change foam, Summit firm hybrid, Terra organic latex and Verdant Talalay latex, the Vault storage bed and the Lift Pro massage base.
• Luxury ($3,500 to $9,000): the Regal Handmade Cashmere Innerspring built in our Austin workshop, the Zenith Smart Adjustable Base with sleep tracking, the Fold-Away Murphy bed and the Signature Suite Bundle.
